Greetings, gentlemen and ladies. Your ol' pal Charlie O'Neal-aka The Pick-Up Artist-is back, and this month, I'm going to disprove one of the oldest cliches in the book. It goes like this: Lightning never strikes twice.
I used to believe that, too. For example, let's say something goes your way. Something really lucky, like you wear a certain cap, and your favorite baseball team rallies from nine-nothing down to win in the bottom of the ninth. The next time they're losing bad in the ninth, you put on the same cap, but nothing happens. They go down in order, one-two-three, and that good-luck cap isn't seeming so lucky anymore.
