"A bunch of us--girls and guys--went to Majorca (an island off Spain) for a week in the sun between terms (semesters) at college. We had a fabulous time, sunbathing and swimming during the day and eating, drinking and dancing at night. Some of the others spent their nights shagging after we'd finished partying, but I didn't intend to be one of them. I'd just broken up with a bloke after being together for a year, and I'd sworn off blokes for a while. I'd accepted that I'd only be indulging in solo sex until I was ready to start dating again. But that wasn't to be, thanks to another bunch of Oxford students that we met up with."
